This is an area of particular complexity and demonstrates the benefits of our Forensic Audits. Many Trusts make bulk sales of Drugs to other organisations including Healthcare at Home.

A detailed audit can correct any Output Tax errors whilst maximizing the Trust’s Input Tax recovery, often highlighting the fact that in many instances no mark-up is being levied and effectively drugs may be sold at a loss.
